Hey! I am back. Many thing happens. Shit do happens at time. But nevertheless, I am very happy since the start of the school.

Freshmen orientation has come to the end and I am now able to focus on my studies and I am now officially and legally able to drive in Singapore and at the rest of the world! I just passed my driving test.

I am excited about tmr, because, this is the first time I will have a chance to drive on my own without the TP or driving instructor at my side!

I am not afraid if I get sued or what so ever because I am sure I am not the only one who felt so for the incident I am going to share with all my readers. Please sue me for defamation if you want! I am sure others who went to your lousy salon felt the same way too, just that there is no one who will post their comment online.

1) My mum spend over $270+ to get her hair dyed but the color drop off another day!

2) I reminded that plump lady inside of how I want want my hair to be cut and after several reminders, that plump lady forgets. I even reminded her over 2 time that my fringe do not need trimmings, but in the end, she trimmed it thin. She was watching the TV while she cut my hair.

This will be the last time I ever step into this lousy place ever again and I caution you guys, visit other salon, this salon is the worse ever!

Went for driving practice yesterday and it has been a very long time since I drove and I knock down 1 poles for 2 time during the practice. My TP is just few weeks later, on the 2nd week of school. Please bless me. Kim and Andy had already passed upon their 2nd try, so I hope I can pass on my 2nd try as well.

The Scouts had their investiture yesterday but I did not manage to stay throughout to see them putting on their scarf. Congratulations! You are on your first step in Scouting.

I have been lazing around home doing nothing, did some figure drawings and downloaded a few songs. Gonna go for photo hunt soon as I need environmental related pictures for my Splash Award.

I didn't make a post for such a long time already.

Just came back from 3DO camp a few days ago and it was great. Had lots of fun.

Whats up next?
- WSS Preparation (WSS is at June)
- Splash Award Preparation with Ferry and Jinhui
- MMA Orientation on the 14/4 - 18/4
- ICT Induction on the 11/4

And one good news! My class dominated 6 out of 8 director's list of the course and yes! I'm the top student again. Cheers! I was posted to 3D Animation track next semester. I hope I can have more time to prepare for the upcoming semester.

One sad thing, my MacBook is dead. It has been sent to the hospital. Currently undergoing tests. Hope I can have it back soon.

Screw all distraction, get off! I just want to concentrate on my studies. If you are not supportive, forget it, I am just myself, yes! I am a result and work oriented person, true enough, this is me and I will never change

I have been working for Acer for the past few days promoting laptops for the new y1 NP student. They are so lucky, laptops nowadays are so cheap and they are much better than my laptop. There are basically 4 models that is recommended by NP to their student.

Oh ya, I have also just received my exam results for the last semester and I am really happy. Perfect score! It is a blessing for me, truly a blessing, I didn't expect it in anyway, I had 2 last minute final assignment for PSP and APT. I really din expect that I am really blessed.

From this, I promise myself that I will never be last minute again, never will I. I can't believe this but I have to. I am now charged and ready for the third semester!

Jobweek 2008 is over and congrats to the Scouts who have done well in their Jobweek.
Scouting were so much different. The culture had changed.

Whats up next? WSS training and Pre U seminar preparation. Oh ya, I was nominated to participate in this Pre U seminar whereby I will be representing NP. 25 students was selected every year from different JCs and Polys. It will be a 5 day camp in NTU on the last week of May. I will be staying in NTU hostel. It will be a great experience for me to enjoy university life.

Much preparation, but I still failed! Argh. But its okay! At least I know how to deal with it the next time

The TP was scary. He did not talk to me. I was quite nervous at the sight of heavy rains just right in front of me. I signaled, checked, on the headlight and wiper, and I turned into the circuit. I could hardly sees any number sign. All blurred.

I did my parallel, vertical and directional change without any problem, no points were deducted except for 4 points in vertical parking for not being able to ensure safety. I dunno why. I checked all blind spot, signaled and keep turning my head left and right. Circuit was safe except that the TP gave the wrong instruction and he brake for me. The engine stalls. He even apologized for that, haha, but why!

The route is alright, just that I dunno why, I got marked down for changing lane abruptly. I checked and did all the safety precautions.

Maybe just my luck man! They say that it is very difficult for first timer to pass.

I re booked the test date to 22/5, 1.55pm, the best timing.

Argh. In about 24 hours or so, I will be having my driving practical test. People says that the driving test is one of the most difficult test in one's entire life. How true?

I have been practicing for the test alot. I went for close to 50 driving lessons already. I wonder if I can pass at my first shot anot.

I have just came back from ICT GL/GMs camp a few days ago and it is great. I am sun burnt. Oh ya, I will be working at NP during the enrollment period for the laptop roadshow as promoter for Acer. So, if you are enrolling into NP, please come and find me to purchase your laptop!

And well, 3 days to my driving test! Argh. It is very scary.

Anyway, congrats to Kim, Adrian and Zeig, our result for this semester improves! As what I heard from Ms Susie. =)

Hey! I am back from Scouts orientation camp. I am serving this camp as a first aider. Well, I did not really attended the whole camp.

Seeing those sec1 Scout reminds me of myself when I was in sec1. I remember how tough the trainings were, but I appreciate those efforts of my senior last time. If they were not to train us this way, I bet we are not who we are today.

So hope that the sec1 Scout (I bet none of them is reading my blog) know what we are doing, we are not picking on anyone of you, just hope that 4 years down the road, you will appreciate what is being done to you. Life is tough, so we should be ready.

Today, I will have to report back to school for ICT GL/GMs camp. I will be assisting the team as a photographer.

Anyway, 7 more days to TP !

It has been a really very long time since I last wrote an entry. This morning, I have decided to clear the cobwebs around my blog. Okay! Time to blog. Hmm...

Studies
Time is fast and its now Feb, going March already and I am almost finished with my first year of studies in Multimedia & Animation and I can say I have truly enjoyed the whole of first year. To all my peers who have been rushing assignment and projects with me, next year we will be specializing and let's meet again for FYP together. All the time that we have been rushing for our claymation, pixilation, website, classical animation, board game, digital game and more are all worth of. I believe, we are happy with the result that we have obtained. It was a definitely a good choice for me to gave up Biomedical Science 1 year back. Just one more Actionscript Programming exam this coming Tuesday and I am done with my year 1. Life has been really busy for the past semester in my studies. In the course, it really prepares me to work under pressure and get me prepared for the working environment. Everyday is about inspiration. Theres a saying, Genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.

However, working in this industry to me is usually 99 percent inspiration, additional 99 percent perspiration. I have been trained how to work over nights without losing focus, meeting hectic deadlines of like 5 major assignment due everyday in a week, hearing the most ugliest critique that you would like to just throw your shoes at the lecturer and shut them up. This semester, I am happy to say I have accomplished quite alot of things as targeted, I have also joined others in setting up a real business funding by NP, I have also worked my first freelance job with Grace's sis bf. To those peoples that will be joining me in the course next year, I wish you all the best and welcome aboard to MMA, where creativity has no boundaries. Haha.

I guess its time I have to tune my lifestyle abit. I have stopped jogging and exercising as usual because of the time I have put into my studies.

Driving
I have been attending alot of lessons in driving and on the 3rd of Mar, I will be having my TP. Wish me luck ok? I hope that I am able to clear it at first shot. I had cleared both my BTT and FTT at my first attempt and hope that I will be able to clear this at my first attempt too.

Scouts
Recently, I had very little time to spare for Scouts because of my studies but during this holiday, I will be assisting as much as possible as I can. I remember the days when I am in secondary school, Scouts were more important to me than my studies, I skipped lesson just to help out in Scouts. I remember those days when we stayed back to play drums and having meetings. Those nice memories are unforgettable, especially my CCA hike.

school is busy and it is really really very busy. first day of school last week and i got a 1000words report to write.

and yes la! i made it. i din know that my result made me the overall top student for semester 1. and i received 3 modules prize for best performance in digital photomedia, fundamental for creative professionals and portfolio project 1.

im gonna work even harder and i want to be the top student again. off to do my animation clip. bb

ha, this is my cousin, peter. he arrived at singapore yesterday and he will be staying with me till next thursday before his school starts. he is living at yong peng, malaysia. he often came to stay with us once in a while because he say that singapore is a good place. he is only 13yrs old this year and he look much like a grown up kid.

ha, i find that i look much alike like him, don't u tink so? i have almost the same personality lik him and we enjoy doing the same thing together. not to mention, he is also a scout like me.

something sad happened to my house this week, we have lost our precious cat. do not wish to tok more, its very saddenly.

guess what, my ipod nano design won the top 20 merit award out of 700 plus entries (i wonder if it is true, as claimed by the organizer). haha. but however, i did not put much effort into the design. it is made using some of my previous work's concept and design. haha.

working is boring but knowing that every seconds i earn some bit of money, im determined to continue working.

brought a converse shoe and converse jacket yesterday using my own money that i have earned. i feel so happy to buy things with my own earned money instead of using my parent's money.

i have submitted by ipod nano design a few weeks ago. not very nicely done becos i do it in like 1hr? or a lil more? ha. and it is using mainly repeated concept from all of my work.

i just found a job and it is going to be data entry job. pay not sure yet but it is a 2 week short assignment so i will be able to finish by school reopen.

i have idea for noise singapore mtv competition but im just too lazy to shoot a stop-motion for its submission. maybe i will do it during the weekend. i wonder will the school assist me if i submit a proper storyboard and story outline for them. if not, i will have to do it myself at home. without those professional lightings.

went to bugis 1 week ago to print some of the assignments that i have did in school and compile it into a portable portfolio. seems too early right? ha, this will came in handy for sudden job interviews and evaluations plus getting ready for the graduation show 3 years down the road (just in case i lost all my file)

ha, i still did not manage to get a job for the holiday and its like 1 whole month to the new semester. should i go to work? or should i just stay home, attend SC, play around or getting ready for the next semester?

i took part in quiet a few graphic design events and competition in town and hope i could win some $ there to cover up for the cost i have spent in the holidays for not working. alright, time for ipod nano design. and its v v v troublesome. haha. worth a try.

anyway, i went back to zhenghua sec with weelee today and the school really change alot. i havent been there since poly starts. not even for scouts. was way too busy. i really miss secondary time. we even went back to our classroom but too bad, we cant enter.

haha. im at ngee ann alumni clubhouse now and i have nothing to do. i drafted out a logo design for my upcoming event, sms shootout. i shall only release and ask for comments when it is finalize. hahaha.

the semester has ended and every now and then, i always have flashback about what i did for the last semester. rushing for assignments, photoshoot and many more. i felt that all these time while working on projects and assignments that has really tight deadlines really trains me to be a good planner for myself.

went for final theory lesson yesterday and evaluation today and i failed it! .. im going for it tmr again and i hope i can clear it this time round! after which, im going to book my final theory date and hopefully clear it and then book my practical test date.

hope i can get my driving license by the end of next year april.

splash award marketplace and award ceremony has finally been over and yes yes yes! congrats to 1m03 mma team! hahaha. we made the class and school proud!

i won myself $120 hello! shop voucher, going to change my hp soon, and kim and jac won even more! we won 3/5 award for the splash award digital poster competition.

ha, now splash is done, i have just submitted like 6 photographs under photography section of noise singapore.

went back to school today for splash award presentation rehearsal and it was scary. ha. afterwhich, rushed back to sunshine to reprint our poster with kim and then went back to school to mount and wrap everything again.

ha. my 6th reflection, about my thoughts, haha, not forgetting the 1 - 5th is a compulsory 1 for fcp.

hmm. i hardly have time to sit down and really think what have i done since the start of the new school term in a new course till now. it was really a busy semester and i can say that i enjoy MMA! with projects, assignments, presentation, viva and many more.

being in a creative industry is not an easy job. the recognition of famous photographer and graphic designer don't come easy. just some thoughts about criticism struck me as i start to ponder how people i have noticed react to it. come on, if you cant' take criticisms, it is really saddening and sympathetic. ya, you can agree that saying is always easy than doing but if you really ponder about what it means and what can you benefit from it, i believe anyone up there can live happily and be a happier person ever after.

hello world and this shall be my first post after a long break from bloggin. ha, this is a brand new post in a brand new site. i have decided to start another blog as it can act as diary to me to post my life here. and also, being a multimedia student, it should be a disgrace not to have a blog.

well, yesterday was my birthday, had fun with my class during our last photomedia lesson on studio photography. it was great and we took quite alot of shot for our assignment on doing a magazine cover page. and also, it was such a surprise for me from the student council and my class.

alright, holidays is coming and i had a great time doing a course that i like. i guess multimedia & animation is really the course for me than biomedical science. it is where i know i can do well and where my passion and interests lies.

oh ya, i am kinda excited about the splash award marketplace this coming wednesday and i am really happy that my masterpiece is one of the finalist. yeah! it is truely a great achievement for me.

haha, plan for the holidays? oh, ha, i am currently sourcing for freelance photographer and graphic design work and am compiling my portfolio now, with all the work i have done for this semester. i hope i could get a job and gain more exposure.
